My apologies for not updating my blog... Been very busy with my stuffs and traveling around.

For that, Let me take you guys on a trip with me, shall we? ^_^

It all begin with a trip with a group of Strangers...

Alaska
After touching down at Juneau International Airport at around 4am. We booked in into the Juneau Hotel and immediately head straight out... This is the first photo my friend John Hyde took. A Sunrise shot at the Gastineau Channel at Juneau, Tongass.

Alaska
Heading down to the Mendenhall Lake on a misty fall morning. John took another photo, there you can see, Glacier beyond at the Tongass Forest.

Oh by the way, i haven't introduce, John Hyde is a professional photographer, you should see all his photo collections.

Alright, Less talk and more photos coming up. ^_^

On a private jet, we flew past Granite Peaks from beneath 1000s of feet of ice, passing through Juneau Ice Field... Below we see the ice breaks at melt pond.

Destination: Mendenhall Glacier, Tongass Forest
Purpose: Hike with a group of hikers.

Happy trekkers reach destination by melt pond on Mendenhall Glacier. I'm at the back resting. Haha~!

Alaska
We took a break and drink the chilling water from the melt pond and I saw John dipping his camera half submerge into the water to take this shot (of coz with a waterproof casing), and asked him if he could teach me some shooting technics, but i failed badly after few tries. -_-" He's just too good with cameras.

We went kayaking and was told not to venture too far. Haha~! Me, waving to the camera. *Waves*

Alaska
Another amazing shot from John. The half submerge, split level view of an iceberg. Lightning strikes beyond.

Alaska
Icicles hanging from ice cave at face of glacier contrast with sculpted blue ice of glacier.

Aurora Borealis, northern lights shimmer over the treetops in the Tongass forest, bare winter trees against aurora near Juneau.

After a long day trekking, we slowly move back down to our hotel... It was fun but tiring due to long hours of flight(for me) & trekking. Haha... But well, for the scenery, its all worth it.

I'm so inspired by the photo shots taken by John Hyde. How i wish it is all a reality for me. Thou this is just an IMAGINARY TRIP that I'm bringing you all along with me. But I swear, I will go Alaska one day. Probably to also go visit John Hyde in person and ask if he could bring me around too.

By the way, i chance upon John's work when i'm doing my Art & Photography Research. Perhaps his work could also inspire you in any ways...
